A Riot of Colors

Good morning everyone!! This is the mani I did for the festival of Holi celebrated last week. I'm not a fan of actually participating in the celebrations with colors & all, so I decided to bring out the festive spirit on my nails. I dabbed on a few colors randomly on all nails, blended them together with some glitter polish & finished the look with white dots in various sizes & loose glitter. I'm in LOVE with how it came out. Hope you feel the same!!

Materials Used

Orange: Colorama Laranja Citrico

Yellow: NYX My Sunshine

Green: Local brand

Blue: Local brand

Glitter polish: NYX Crystal

White: NYX White

Loose glitters: Born Pretty Store

Yellow & Rhinestones

Good morning everyone!! December has already begun but except for the early hours of the day, there seems to be no sign of winter at all. Keeping up with the hot & bright sunlight outside, I did my nails in yellow this week. Yellow is quite a tricky color to work with as it may not go with all skin tones, but this shade is something different. Its a mango shade that's not too bright & looks gorgeous. I applied 3 coats & used red sequins for the pattern. For the ring finger, I used rhinestones in various colors & shapes & filled any remaining spaces with some more sequins.

Pink & Yellow Roses

Good morning everyone!! I know summer has long gone by, but this week I was inspired to try something floral with roses. Now they aren't the most perfect representation of roses, but I did give it my best shot. The base yellow is one of my favorite yellows as its quite subtle & wearable for everyone. With 2 coats of it, I used a light & bright pink color for the roses, light green for the leaves & finished with white dots. It reminds me of a summery floral print dress. Pastel Pink with Hello Kitty

Good morning everyone!! I'm actually finding it quite difficult to decide what to do with my nails ever since I'd to cut them short. Having kept my nails shaped square for a number of years makes it difficult for me to see them otherwise. So I decided to do something simple and what better than to use some pretty decals, especially Hello Kitty :) I've applied a pastel pink polish, used a dotting tool for the yellow & hot pink dots & then applied the decals. The pink base is a local polish & is very pretty, but quite streaky as well. Even three coats couldn't solve the issue.

Good morning everyone!! The weather has ben pretty dull lately with all the rainfall we're experiencing here. Finally the sun has come out today & it feels so good to see it light up the house. This play of bright & dull weather inspired me to use grey & yellow for my mani.
